"Winter Wonderland"-Christmas edition
“Make it a December to remember”
This Christmas in all probability looks like it will be in Saudi and needless to say I am devoid of those vibes that were otherwise easily available to soak in.And in the last week of November, began the switch of playlists to Christmas songs.Frank Sinatra was my muse this time and oh his voice! Everything he sang about made me feel so toasty and cozy that I began to have an imagery which was enough for me to get working.
His song "Walking in the Winter Wonderland" was my design inspiration for these cookies and although the set is pretty small I think I have a start there, ain't it?
These are Vanilla Cinnamon Sugar cookies glazed and hand painted with edible paints and gold.I have used wafer paper to create the wreath effect and royal icing for texture.One element that I have always loved is creating watercolor effects and I have done so on the stocking cookies.
