A Carrot cake layered with cream cheese frosting, frosted in Ganache. The cake depicts an ancient wooden jewelry box with a set of ornate gold jewelry resting atop a peach silk sari and white embroidered handkerchief. Only about 5% of this cake has been covered in fondant.The wood carving and jewelry have been handcrafted in gum paste.The blue velvet cloth lining the box as well as the sari and handkerchief has been achieved in fondant. Made on request by Diana Dsouza for her mother who loves to adorn herself in jewelry & brocade on the occasion of her 75th birthday.
