“Birthday at Tiffany's”-Birthday edition
DESIGN INSPIRATION- My client Mary approached me to create a cake for the first birthday of her first born.She wanted it to be simple, classy and Tiffany blue in colour.
In my mind's eye, the class of the movie “Breakfast at Tiffany's” began to take a new form and I thought, how about a birthday there...starry, dreamy, sparkly like the carbon stones at the showroom?
And so I arrived at this little stunner for Baby Jo !
I am hoping his birthday was dreamy and starry the way his mother wished for. “This is so dreamy. I am in love with it ! “ were her words when she saw the cake. My Cake soul within sang a song of joy and gratitude.
FLAVOR PROFILE- Ultimate Chocolate with Malt frosting covered in Ganache and Fondant. The stars and topper were handcrafted in gumpaste while the baby blocks in fondant. Edible silver paint and silver leaf were used to bring on that bling to the cake.
