Here is my first contribution towards the world collaboration called Sugar Myths and Fantasies 2.0 which was awarded the Best Collab Cake Oscar last year in its first installment.It means a lot to me in being able to share such a grand platform with immensely talented artists.Please take a look at all the incredible pieces created by over 121 sugar artists from around the world.

Golden reindeer have always been a subject of curiosity for me and my inspiration to create this Golden Hind. I have predominantly used gum paste, fondant, and Royal icing to put together this piece. Modelling the head of the hind was the challenging part for me and I chose to sculpt it in Royal Icing. The whole set up has been hand painted to bring in the feel of a full moon night from the forest depicting Cerynitis standing gracefully in a lake lighting up the forest with its golden radiance. Photographing my piece was a bit tricky and I decided on showcasing the effects of playing with light as well.I hope you all enjoy watching this creation.
