"Spiced Chai Cake"- New Flavor on the menu

A few months back I was asked about my tea based baking experiences by my friend Sherin George-owner at Pardesi Trotter.The thought fascinated me & we began discussing how interesting it would be to have Chai infused into a cake.Winter being around the corner I couldn't resist trying this combination & am so grateful to her for this indulgence.The warmth of chai-infused with cinnamon, nutmeg & cardamom amidst the cake sponge was perfect for my evening tea.I chose to layer & frost it with a Ginger spice buttercream paired with a cup of Masala Chai.To all those tea lovers, here is me inviting you to try this new flavor from my oven & celebrate our traditional "Chai".
